I put two of these in my jeep with a standard 5.3L (300hp) engine. I bought these as I needed something that would fit in a small space. They are perfect for that. They are compact and sound very good. At idle you can hear them like barley, but as soon as you step on the pedal, heads turn. It's hard to keep your foot at a decent angle when you want to hear these babies sing. I've driven it almost 5,000 miles and I haven't noticed much change in the sound. It's hard to tell, although I wouldn't notice subtle changes since I hear them all the time.
