Installed on my '95 Wrangler YJ with V8 replacement

I replaced the V8 on my '95 Jeep YJ with a completely rebuilt Vortec 350 from a '97 Chevy Tahoe. I kept the real dual exhaust and put a pair of Flowmaster HP-2s side by side. I LOVE the sound of my beast now. Just a little more tweaks to work on.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

it had great sound, but it was too loud and demanding.

Suitable for VW Jetta 2.5L. The previous setup was a high flow coil and resonator with 2.5" tubes throughout, it sounded great but it was too loud and I wanted something quieter. Put that in the back and it's a great setup, similar sound (maybe even a little deeper) but a lot quieter. It no longer wakes up a toddler or neighbor on a cold start.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great silencer! in silencer

I like the sound of the Flowmaster. I hadn't tried anything other than chambered silencers before, but I needed something smaller and a little quieter than the Super 10 I had on my Can Am Ryker. That's still quite a burden, but now it's reduced to a much more manageable level. And it sounds great, very pleasant rumble when braking. The bike also likes this style of muffler a lot more. It knocked 0.75 seconds off my 0-60.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Minor problems

This exhaust sounds fantastic on my 5

This exhaust sounds fantastic on my 5.2 Magnum mounted on my Jeep Wrangler TJ. It's got a nice growl, it's loud, and people will know you're driving, but you can still talk in a Jeep, with or without a convertible. This is also the only exhaust muffler that fits my jeep with my long arm kit. In combination with the high-flow Magnaflow system, it sounds fantastic. I was thinking about buying the 40 series but this is perfect for me.

Pros
  • Exhaust and Emissions
Cons
  • Modern

01 toyota celica gt

I installed it on my 2001 toyota celica gt. it's LOUD, but not super loud. It's annoying on long car rides, but otherwise it's cool. I think it sounds cool, it doesn't look like a fart can or anything. It's a bit of a midrange rumble, but not like a Subaru because the Celica is an inline-4. It's really small, so it obviously works well in small spots. Btw I also have a high flow Magnaflow catalytic converter and it makes some rattling noises, if I knew what model it was I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • interval

Compact, great sounding

I put two of these in my jeep with a standard 5.3L (300hp) engine. I bought these as I needed something that would fit in a small space. They are perfect for that. They are compact and sound very good. At idle you can hear them like barley, but as soon as you step on the pedal, heads turn. It's hard to keep your foot at a decent angle when you want to hear these babies sing. I've driven it almost 5,000 miles and I haven't noticed much change in the sound. It's hard to tell, although I wouldn't…

Pros
  • Muffler
Cons
  • Almost never
