I'm an idiot in the video like. This tool is near perfect. The device, a true bearing puller, really suited my needs. I suppose it will be for others. This thing is solid and can withstand a 300-foot drop just by lying on it (although I know better now, I might damage the crank's internal threads). The only complaint I had after using it was that the part of the push rod that pushes on the threads of the crank to pull the equalizer gets stuck in the main threaded shaft, shank, whatever, of the tool. There's no way to grab it to remove, and even with anti-seize on, there was too much in there to get out without a vise and some clamps (I wrapped them in rags to prevent damage). Maybe they could make this piece hexagonal. , or just two flat spots, like on the inner tie rod, for a wrench to go in there. It still deserves 5 stars from me. This is a quality tool that made it easy for me to uninstall and install and I'm sure it will hold up every time I go through it. You'll probably lose it somewhere before it wears out. Some anti-seize agents are standard on threads for such a tool. Maintaining this smoothness prevents seizure. You have to wear it down by cutting threads and to be honest I don't think this can happen if you avoid hitting. The bearing in the plate is also great. Facilitates a rigid installation by applying even pressure to the balancer and eliminating drag caused by the crank bolt (otherwise it will rub against the plate without a bearing). The sound is even and quiet. Don't rent them from an auto parts store. Don't skimp and end up not having to work on things together. This tool is worth every penny.
