This OV2640 camera directly replaces the camera in your ESP32-CAM without any modifications. The biggest benefit is that the landscape view you get from standard cameras that come with ESP32-CAM is on this one portrait. The lens is glued, but everything is fine with the focus. So if you want your module to be installed with the SD card slot facing up, this will help. For the IR-CUT, check the last picture in the list for cable pinouts and other information. I won't walk this through the steps, but so far I've only found good features. This isn't a fisheye camera by the way, the sides of the view aren't curved, you just see more depth in the field of view. Even at 30+ feet, objects are sharp. This is a great find.
