The scooter was largely assembled. All you have to do is discard the piece of plastic in the handlebar area, insert and lock the handlebar, then adjust the height of the handlebar and lock it. It is easy to store as it has a stand or can be folded for more compact storage. Large wheels make it easier to drive on uneven sidewalks. The only downside, and this applies to most scooters, is that the platform feels short. My daughter wears a size 7 shoe and almost covers the platform.
