So after a couple of cold rides at 34°F or 1°C in this kit I can safely say it won't stop cold wind, it will stop you keeps warm . My inner thighs took the brunt of the cold wind and I got hives from riding in this temperature. I would recommend something a little more windproof if you ride in temperatures below 50F or 10C. The fit is true to size, no enlargement is required. I'm 5ft 11", 180-185 pounds, 32" inseam and Large fits me perfectly. The padding is ok, not too thick but not thin either. The zippers around the ankles seem weak and I've already broken the zippers on my boot covers, hopefully the zippers on my pants will hold up better.
