3 Cheese Slicers Direct Comparison

I recently bought 3 cheese slicers because I really want one that really slices hard cheese into slices that are perfect for me. Like you, my European wooden-handled slicer recently broke, leaving me with a cheese cutter - ugh. I can tell you with certainty that I have found my new favorite plane. I bought two Boskas (Copenhagen & Monaco) and a KBasix slicer. , both Boskas performed well, but the $10 Copenhagen fared better, offering a slightly thicker slice of cheese. If you eat manchego, parmesan or other hard cheeses on a regular basis and want to create a cheeseboard, then sliced cheese is just what you need. And they can't be too thick - so forget the wire cheese slicers! To be fair, the KBasix slicer is perfect when you're looking for shredded cheese for risotto or pasta. The Copenhagen has serrations on the blade of the slicer and cuts smoothly through the block of cheese. Monaco has a small hole (decoration?) in the middle of the O in Boska on the side of the plane. As far as I can tell, it doesn't offer any features. Monaco is a durable food slicer with thin discs. But for twice the price I would stay in Copenhagen!
