There have always been phones made by Sony for as long as I can remember there being phones. The Xperia z5 is the most recent model, and it has been a dependable device for more than four years. Yet, only recently it started going to another realm, and I started looking for something else to take its place. As a result of the fact that Sony's flagships released at the beginning of 2022 did not manage to entice me with their prices, designs, or functionality, I've decided to try something else. I wasn't interested in the flagship products of other businesses; rather, I was on the lookout for something in the middle price range. After perusing a number of websites and looking at a large number of customer reviews, I decided to purchase a Pixel 3a (including, on the recommendation of Googlephile friends). I feel obligated to state up front that I do not lament the decision that I made. The phone is definitely a good investment for the money. In terms of speed, there is no comparison between my Pixel and my old Sony. Pixel is light years ahead. He just soars! Except for the photographs, all of the important data was sent along the connection that is included with the Google Pixel, and it did so rapidly enough. Both Google Photos and Sony's Gallery were not very user-friendly, and the photographs were presented in an order that was somewhat haphazard. Other from that, I was able to become used to the phone in a matter of hours. The print is in an accessible location, it reacts quickly, the screen is fantastic, the oleophobic coating glides flawlessly, it can easily last till evening with heavy usage, and it can last between one and two days with moderate use; it does not become hot, and the sound quality is satisfactory. Pleasant vibration that is not obnoxious. In regards to the camera, I was hoping for more from it. In my opinion, a camera is just like any other camera. When you turn on the camera, the picture that is displayed with the next photo is crisp and full of detail. When we press the "take picture" button, the picture that appears in the gallery is significantly less vibrant and stunning. Having said that, this is merely my view. Maybe set aside some time to personalize your phone to your preferences, including the notifications, sound, menus, desktops, and access to applications, among other things. It is essential to delve into all of this, but there should only be happy moments along the way! A number of people have mentioned that there is no indicator light. I used to have it on Sony, but, if I'm being completely honest, I don't miss it all that much. AoD was activated, used, and then deactivated. That is not required, and doing so will only drain the battery in the end. In light of all that has been discussed so far, I am confident in stating that the phone is an excellent investment. :)
