These fans are fairly quiet, although not the quietest I've heard. They also seem to have poor quality control as one of the wires was missing 1cm of insulation along the length of the cable. You don't need to do good quality control as this is how it's shipped. The cable is probably only 6-7 inches long so it won't fit your PC well as you probably won't be able to properly manage cables or even connect them. used my old dead fan's wires and attached the new fan's wires. Now that it's up and running, it works great. Not what I was hoping for but everything is working for me now so I won't be returning them. Just keep in mind that your fans will come with bare wires (bad) when you buy them and your cable will probably be too short unless your fan is next to a 3 pin connector on your cell phone if you are using them for a use PC.
