I will never use a standard shower head again. I don't think I've ever had a shower head I'd label as satisfying until now. This thing is great. I did order and extender arm so the head would be positioned for the water to fall straight down but I was impatient as the head showed up first and I installed it as is. I am 6 feet tall and I didn't have any problems with the angel or whatever. I'd say you'd probably be okay without the extender arm but I'd still recommend it.
