Coravin quickly sent me a replacement aerator and it actually works as shown in the video - clean streams that don't require much gas (they asked to return the old one to test which I took as a good sign of quality control). Very happy with the customer service - people make mistakes, the key is how you work to fix them. Thanks Corvin! I love my Coravin - just tasted the bottle I last had over two years ago and it still tastes fresh. I thought the aerator would be a big improvement but as others have posted the "flow" out of the aerator is nothing like the video! Mine leaks and requires so much pressure from the device to even get the drop that I worry about cracking the bottle. When I remove the aerator, the Coravin fizzes if it's still in the bottle. My understanding is that the aerator takes an hour to decant, so I'm now pouring in an hour earlier than usual. It's better than spending $20 on a cartridge! Coravin, I'll be a customer for life, but your aerator sucks!
