This shock absorber is amazing. The best at all. I can't believe I didn't do this many years ago. No more heavy tailgate. Not knowing what I was doing and trying to follow the instructions as well as the YouTube videos, it took about an hour. Now that I've done it, it's that easy and I can redo it in about 20 minutes or less. The instructions say to remove the rubber bumper but that's not on the video. I left the rubber bumper on and it works great if I leave it on. Great addition to my truck. I highly recommend it. I told my brother and he bought one the next day and he loves it. It's not often that I'm satisfied with what I buy from Revain, but this time I was completely satisfied. It's usually either too big or too small, or doesn't work as promised. But this time I'm very satisfied. Excellent purchase.
