I replaced a pair of Apexstone spacers with these and these Suspa spacers are definitely a higher quality product. It's not even close! I put them on the aviary cover of my chicken coop so my daughter wouldn't break her fingers while collecting eggs. They do an excellent job of that. The heavy lid opens by itself as soon as the lid is raised 1/4 of its height and then closes very slowly as it is lowered. Installation was easy. Having tried 2 pairs of spacers, I recommend buying a lot more weight than your app suggests.
