Review on 📝 Strathmore Gray Drawing Sketch Pad, 400 Series, Toned Paper, 5.5x8.5 inches, 50 Sheets by Lori Aguirre

I got this sketchbook because I've been getting Strathmore stuff for years. Judging by the reviews and description, this is a medium weight paper suitable for charcoal (which is why I bought it). When I looked at this paper I really didn't think it lived up to the description. That's barely average weight and there's practically no tooth. Why is it recommended for charcoal if there is no tooth? Anyway I like the size and gray paper is my favorite when working with charcoal. I only got it for tinkering so it's not that big of a deal but I wouldn't have gotten it had I had more specific information. If you need it for a pencil or charcoal I wouldn't do it, but for a pen or even paint I think it would be fine.
