Review on πŸš— Husky Liners Mud Guards for Chevrolet Suburban 2015-2020 - Rear, Black, 2 Pcs (Part 59211) by Eric Timbeross

Perfect fit to the wing contours

Mudguards are designed to fit the wing contours perfectly. The bolt holes were fairly close together, but the 4th bolt and slip-on nut (included with the fenders) that was supposed to attach to the fender liner was tricky to install. The clip on the nut is almost too thin to slide over the fender insert - I had to pry it apart with a screwdriver and hammer it in. I also had to make a small notch on the underside of the fender liner to get it far enough to line up with the hole in the fender. Plastic film protectors come with splash guards to protect the paintwork where they overlap the fender edge. I don't recommend skipping these as I didn't install them initially and noticed some paint wear after about two weeks when I removed the fenders to install the skid plates. The paint shields are meant to be die cut so they can be die cut and installed but the ones I received weren't completely cut out so I had to use scissors to cut them out. Despite some minor installation issues I still recommend them as they fit the car well, look good once fitted and keep the car clean well - I see a big difference as I live on a gravel road and feel like I have I there would be a lot of paint damage if I didn't install them.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No paint required
