Needs a small modification. 2015 Suburban

2015 Suburban. Good product, goes well with the wing. Be sure to remove the wheels. I had the exact same problem on both sides. The bottom screw did not match the screw on the fender liner. Both were slightly larger. To move the mount higher to a new location, I had to trim the plastic a bit. See photo. Otherwise, I highly recommend these Guardians. I feel strong and enduring.

Holes mismatch

I ordered Husky liners for my wife's 2016 Suburban. They were described as "...tailored to fit your wings perfectly". And the no drilling required setting. They were close to the fender but not perfect and didn't need to be drilled in any way! None of the holes matched the factory mounts. I called the company and spoke to someone on the support team. She asked me to email her pictures of the problem, she sent me the email address and I emailed her the pictures within 5-10 minutes. After 2 days…

It pays to be the best outdoor accessory

I bought these because I wanted my new suburb to be 'custom'. Indeed they were. The assembly was carried out with mounted tires. Sure, removing the tires would make installation easier, but removing the tires is a hassle. With the right tools, I got the job done pretty easily. No special skills are required for this. You look good and should do the job. I also bought Husky liners for the front and installed them the same way as the tires. Spinning the wheels made it easy. They look heavy and I…

Put them on without removing the tires.

I'm giving the rear fenders a 5 because they work great after a few months of use. Also, you don't have to remove the rear tire to install them at all, at least on my 2018 Suburban. The 3 screws on the inner fender match the fenders perfectly. You'll need to add another screw about halfway down the fender. To do this, lie on the ground behind the tires, grab the fender, and poke a sharp nail into the hole in the fender so you can see where to drill. Hole in the fiber guard behind the tire. It…

Perfect fit to the wing contours

Mudguards are designed to fit the wing contours perfectly. The bolt holes were fairly close together, but the 4th bolt and slip-on nut (included with the fenders) that was supposed to attach to the fender liner was tricky to install. The clip on the nut is almost too thin to slide over the fender insert - I had to pry it apart with a screwdriver and hammer it in. I also had to make a small notch on the underside of the fender liner to get it far enough to line up with the hole in the fender…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No paint required

Having just installed the front fenders on a 2015 Suburban, I started out with great optimism. Aside from the fact that the rear screws are 7mm hex instead of the Torx 15 screws used on the front, installation should be easy. Suffice it to say it wasn't that easy, although the Husky fenders weren't to blame. The removal of three 7mm bolts allowed for a slight increase in clearance between the rear fender well housing components. To install the fender I used a mirror to see if the holes lined up
