The notches are too small
I don't know why they have such high ratings. The holes have small indentations where you need to insert the wick so that it is perfectly centered. However, the recesses are too small for the wick, forcing the wick to stay in the larger hole. This shifts it off center and defeats its entire purpose. They are strong but ineffective.
