Review on 🔧 StopTech 309.10780 Performance Brake Pads with Shims and Hardware by Bill Dooley

Installed this on my 2015 Subaru Forester. About a week or two after installation, these pads started to squeak! I took it back to the mechanic to make sure they were installed correctly and with plenty of padding (as they should be since it's new). Not sure why they squeak like my pads are dying but it's annoying to drive. Another disadvantage of these brakes is the formation of dust! As I lower the tires to wash my car, I see black water running down the driveway. There's also a layer of brown dust that collects on your wheels so easily from braking (I only drive on city streets). I've never had problems like this with the brakes. Now I have to make sure I use a better product and take the time to clean the wheels, which doesn't even take a few days. Does it stop the car? Yes, it performs the normal function of stopping a car. Will I recommend it? While it gets the job done, you'll find another set of brakes to keep noise and dust out of the way.
