The lamp is great as a children's night light or just for a party. Pretty bright when the lights are off. It's not bright enough to see on the ceiling when the lights are on, but it still looks cool spinning in a corner. It mainly has 4 bright LEDs: red, blue, green and white. And you can make a combination of any of these lights and you can rotate the light at different speeds or stand still. He's by no means indestructible, but he's very forgiving. My 3 year old crumpled the star cutout but was able to pull it out without damage. I'm sure too many times marks are left. Overall a good product. My kids love watching this and it's a nice change from the standard night lights. Only downside is that I would have liked a USB adapter for a socket in the kit. I have some laying around, but eventually they will run out. This is my true and honest opinion, but in full disclosure it was sent to me for review free of charge.
