Worked well but not particularly strong
My wife and I attached this to one of our cars which weighs about 3,500 pounds and towed it back to our house, for a total of about 2 miles at speeds under 30 mph with a 30 foot nylon tow strap. It worked, but despite the elasticity of the tow strap, this tow hook buckled to one side a bit during that short ride. ideal for tying up or for very light towing. For towing, I would only use it at the front of the car to tow it a short distance, not to tow another car.
