Review on πŸ”© Extended Length Point Drill Bit by COMOWARE by David Lesperance

Revainrating 2 out of 5

These drill bits can work normally when drilling Styrofoam!

Like: The sharpness was good. Dislikes: Drill strength was inferior to others at a similar price. During the FIRST TIME USE, the bit encountered a rough/hard spot about 4" in a 5 1/2" diameter hole and rotated a full revolution before I could let go of the trigger. I used a Porter Cable 20 volt cordless drill and drilled southern yellow pine (unfinished). Very disappointed. I wasn't pressing (applying force or weight) on my drill. Many times I would pull the chisel out to clear the shavings from the hole and let the chisel and drill do the work without trying to speed up the drilling process, and upon hitting a hard spot the drill would give like it was aluminum. Again,. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Pros
  • Brad Point Design - Brad point design allows for quick penetration with a sharp point. This allows the user to pinpoint the drill mark. Better in CENTERING and WITHOUT DISCOUNT.
Cons
  • Doubtful
