It was one thing to realize that about 6 inches of this product was unusable. Because the self-adhesive backing ends 3 inches before the end of the roll. At both ends. but now I was about to apply it to the back of the mat and 2/3 of the way to the end, the paper covering the adhesive CANNOT BE REMOVED! The paper did NOT come off but stuck to the rubber! I had to resort to a hot glue gun to glue the backing to the carpet. That actually tells me the roll is OLD and that's why the paper is stuck on the back. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I feel like I should either get a free NEW replacement OR a credit towards my purchase price!
