Good product for 1 3/8 " or 1 3/4 " doors

I have installed them on 1 3/4" doors they are intended for: the unit itself is 1 3/8" deep but because there is no inside edge that won't prevent you from using them on full depth doors and in fact other sites' descriptions claim they will fit any size door. The advantage over the U-profile, the rounded type, is that you don't have to dismantle the door for installation, which I would have to do otherwise. That's a big win. I have this guy who has been standing at some of our exterior doors for 30 years with no problems. No real lateral pressure has ever been applied, so there's no threat of tearing them off.
