You can use this board on Raspberry Pi and ODROID-XU4 but not on Mac.
If you want to use this on Raspberry Pi you will need to follow this guide to make it work please search "Use rtl8812au wireless adapter on Raspberry Pi". If you want to use this on ODROID-XU4, the driver is already built into its Ubuntu Mate image, but you need to plug it in before running ODROID-XU4 for this adapter to work. Yes. You can connect to a 5 GHz hotspot on both Raspberry Pi and ODROID-XU4. I also tried using this on a Mac (macOS Sierra). I installed the driver but cannot use it to connect to a corporate hotspot (with username and password). If you find this guide helpful, please vote so more people can see it.
