Not up to code in California
There wasn't anything wrong with this very loud door alarm. It was easy to install and the remotes worked. Unfortunately, it doesn't meet the codes in California because 1) the alarm doesn't sound continuously until you turn it off once activated, and 2) you can turn it off with the remote. I had to rush out and buy another alarm to pass the inspection. Moral - check your local requirements before you buy this!
- Easy to replace batteries when needed
- May not work well in areas with frequent power surges or fluctuations
