Review on Fel Pro 26540 PT Cylinder Gasket by Rick Rownd

We used these on a 2013 Chevy Cruze with a horrible 1.4 ton engine. Poor little Cruze had a blown head gasket, according to dealer diagnostics. Ordered three cylinder head gaskets. Why do you ask? Let me clear that up. I ordered Fel-pro because of their reputation. I ordered a factory brand GM ACDelco just to compare to the Fel-Pro. I was planning on installing the better of the two. The third came with a different brand kit which I ordered just to have all the other gaskets I knew I wanted to replace after taking this Cruze's engine apart for repairs. The Teufel Pro seemed to have the best fit and finish of the three. The ACDelco was foolishly shipped in a flimsy envelope - no box - so it was bent and damaged beyond use. So the solution was pretty simple. I don't mind using cheaper rubber gaskets for some of the other sealing surfaces, but I wanted to make sure we were using the best we can get for the new head gasket. I don't want to save money after a blown head gasket and increase the chances of getting another blown head gasket in the near future. Fel-pro is a really easy choice and I would buy it again.
