The brake control unit was very easy to install thanks to YouTube. The brake control works great. If you are looking to add this to your F-150 and not replace the factory installed brake controller, BE CAREFUL, there is more you need to do to make it work. 1st: You need to buy the ForScan Interface to update your truck's computer and activate the brake control. Second, you need to make sure your truck has a brake control fuse. This was the step that baffled me why I was getting a DTC every time I started my truck. Refer to the fuse plan in the owner's manual. I believe it was a #24 or #25 fuse. Overall I am very pleased with this product. Just note the extra steps required to make it work.
