Easy control installation. The hardest part is removing the entire dash trim, but there are plenty of videos on YouTube. Saved a ton of money at the dealer and activated it yourself with open source software.

Excellent product. This is OEM. very easy to install. It only took about 10 minutes. The only downside is that I have a 2020 F250 and the electronics are disabled by default so you have to take them to a mechanic to have them reprogrammed.

Works great for 2018 F-150. Connected directly to the dashboard and looks like it came from the factory. By using Forscan software to connect to the truck's computer, the gain settings are displayed on the dashboard screens rather than looking at a separate device.

This controller stopped working a few months after installing it and I could never get the seller to respond. Based on my experience I can't recommend this controller - spend more for a reputable brand who might give you help if something goes wrong.

I installed it very easily. I had to take it to Ford to flash on my truck's computer. It took me a while to make an appointment. By the time I got to Ford, 30 days had passed. When flashing to a computer, a bug was found in it and it did not work. I emailed the company regarding this requesting a refund but no response. Terrible customer service.

I suspect the good reviews here are false reviews. I like one of the reviewers, I had a faulty wiring system, it melted in my console, it froze on my trailer's brakes and nearly caused an accident, burning out the brake pads and glazing. Avoid this company at all costs. I ended up paying $1,000 and wasting two days off-road driving a pickup truck with a trailer each time. I don't go to the market anymore.

To be honest it works great and is easy to install. There is a video online showing how to remove the inner plastic to access the pacifier slot where it belongs. You really only need 6mm and 8mm sockets. You will also need FORSCAN, a program used by Ford enthusiasts that allows you to enable brake control in your truck's computer dashboard cluster module. The brake control unit was very easy to install thanks to YouTube. The brake control works great. If you are looking to add this to your F-150 and not replace the factory installed brake controller, BE CAREFUL, there is more you need to do to make it work. 1st: You need to buy the ForScan Interface to update your truck's computer and activate the brake control. Second, you need to make sure your truck has a brake control fuse. This was the step that baffled me why I was getting a DTC every time
