Review on 🧶 BeCraftee Crochet Hooks Kit: 31-Piece Set with Ergonomic Hooks, Yarn Needles, and Carrying Case by Brooke Abrahams

I only ordered this kit on recommendation from Revain as I've just decided to start crocheting and have never crocheted in my life. I'm still not even sure I'm using that terminology correctly. While waiting for it to arrive, I went to Worthless*Mart and bought a set of standard metal hooks to get started. I almost stabbed two dogs, my couch and my own eyes before they arrived. Now a week later I have 17 rows by 7 feet in a quilt. My hands don't hurt anymore and the only time I've wanted to hit something was at a video game. Seriously, I have carpal tunnel and I've been told that crocheting can help improve it by exercising muscles other than what I usually overwork in my day-to-day work. After the first two days, the pain I was experiencing made me believe it was a lost cause. Now I just have to stop when I get bored. I can't speak to the gadget set as I have no idea what they are used for, but the hook I use and the scissors far exceeded expectations. Or the hopes I had I paid full price for this item and was not asked or compensated for my review.
