Better than my favorite

I have used many ABS spools from supplier some are over $50 per spool some under $20 all good but this is my new one. I have a heated camera on Raise 3D Pro, 250c Table Pull 100c, prints at 40-50mm/s on exterior surfaces, 60-80 from all internals. Overlap 10 to 20%, nozzle 0.4 to 0.6, layer 0.1 to 0.35, extrusion rate 90%. I have no leakage compensation other than 0.05 retraction on the outer surface only. No seepage, no pimples, no layers peeling off, smooth and fairly glossy surface. I'll bet a 0.35mm layer will wrinkle and pucker easily, but depending on the application, that's not a problem. I make prototypes and usable parts. I tap it afterwards, using a precision sweep in some cases, and it handles well too. It has very good impact resistance and is quite stiff. I have no problem with it, in fact it's my new favorite and I like its price. The print job I made in the photos was with a 0.6 nozzle with an external speed of 50mm/s, 80, an internal wall thickness of 1.5-2.5mm. It's not that the other filaments can't, but some of them won't look as good, some will bleed and in some cases the printer will peel, these pieces are 300mm high or wide. That alone with ABS is impressive. I actually have the best abs condition. Enclosed printer, heated chamber at 70Β°C, excellent filament, very dry and easy to set up. Other details, I didn't notice any change from the beginning of the spool to the end, not from spool to spool but from batch to batch from manufacturer. No noticeable change in performance, print comfort and color. This job alone took about 8 spools, I had no jams, tangles, or filament or spool issues. In fact, the spool bore is well offset, making it stay in place better and eliminating unwanted friction with other surfaces during use. Try it and I hope you like it as much as I do. Keep creating, keep having fun.
