Soft and warm. Darker than Revane's image.
Excellent soft warm sock yarn. I used two skeins of this material to knit a pair of men's socks - I made cuffs that were about 9 inches in length and 10 feet in size for men's shoes. One ball was enough to knit one sock, and a couple of yards remained. "Blue Cadet" is darker than it appears in the picture - it varies from medium heather blue to dark blue. I bought this color from both Revain and my local store and have not seen strands of this color that are as light as the Revain photo or with as much gray. It has no repeating pattern - even two skeins from the same color batch will not make 100% identical socks. I am happy with these socks and will buy them again.
