This is a decent inexpensive amplifier kit that should do the trick for a typical installation. As other reviewers have said, the wire is definitely not 4 gauge. The sheath is thicker than wire, which is no thicker than 8 gauge at best. I don't really care, I didn't expect more for the price I paid so the total cost for this kit for me is $15. The included built-in fuse holder is cheaply made, but should work. Also, does it come with a supposed 80 amp AGU fuse? For real? 80 amps? I highly doubt it, but okay. On the plus side, the included RCA cable is on par with other brands of cables that sell for around $20. There is a good price. The kit also includes about 15 feet of 16-18 gauge speaker wire, about 4 feet of ground wire, some split wires, zip ties, a bag of gold plated connectors, and a decent battery connector for the power cord. Again, this isn't an elite kit, but for the average user, this is great value for money. I'm glad I didn't stop by.
