I was looking for a kids gate that wasn't too bulky and wouldn't take up much space so I decided to give it a try. I love that it's so easy to hide when we're not using it and that it's easy to secure with one hand (because I usually use my other hand to hold my baby). It takes up minimal space on our staircase, which is quite narrow, so that's a big plus. The only negative comment I have is that the written instructions are literally the worst building instructions I've ever seen (and I've built LOTS of furniture and various products). The kit includes two paper models that you can attach to the wall to see exactly where to install the equipment. I advise you to ignore written instructions and match the shapes of the fittings with the figures on the cutouts. This will save you from confusion. Overall very happy with these goals. I'm ordering two more for the house.
