Sold simply for 3D pens due to short spools. But it's a standard 1.75mm, you can use it with a printer when you're doing a small project. Seems good value for the range. I haven't noticed any issues or differences from other brands I use. Most (but not all) pins use 1.75, check before ordering. Our 3Doodler uses 3.0mm and I've seen others use 2.5mm and 2.85mm.
