The 95 degree spread is ridiculous; a defective laser

Although the device shines with two laser spots (one of which is so weak that it can hardly be seen), the claimed 95-degree "spread" is clearly not true. I have an 8 foot ceiling in my garage, the centers of the cars are 7.5 feet apart and the dash is 4.5 feet from the ceiling. Trigonometry calculated that the required angle is about 79 degrees for the dot in the middle of the stroke to glow. I fixed it to the ceiling before permanent installation and the laser doesn't reach the center of a car; it barely reaches to the side. If I point one side a little forward and the other a little back, I'm estimating the angle to be no more than 70-75 degrees. Due to the low spread and weak laser it is unusable and I will be returning it. UPDATE: The seller has very good customer service. Based on the review above, he contacted me and offered a replacement or refund without shipping. Although generous, the design still doesn't work effectively with two cars and an 8-foot ceiling.
