Knitters always prefer the shape of the needle. I always use Susan Bates' design. After trying this particular design I bought it in all sizes and had some of the most common ones. It's not as big as the bamboo handle, which I also liked, but slightly larger than the handle alone. When I'm working on projects, I feel comfortable holding it in my hands. As always, the company makes the tool very affordable so it fits into any budget, which is very important in this day and age. I would love to see this handle on their smaller steel hooks. Try it, you won't regret it.
