This game had potential and we gave it a try. My son (12) and I watched creator videos on YouTube to learn how to play properly. Then we played on for an hour and a half. The first phase of the game is silly, if you have less than three cards in hand and discard them to the discard pile, you must draw back to have three cards in hand. This makes it almost impossible to get out. Even if you have one card left, you still have to draw two more, so basically you don't get out of the game without some luck, most often with a net +2 or net +1 card. And then when you get to the up3 and down3 cards and can't fold, you're back to phase one and basically stuck in an endless loop with three cards in your hand. We kept watching the videos and playing a decent amount of time to make sure we got that aspect right. It just didn't work for us and became more of a chore and eventually we just quit.
