Review on MOOG Chassis Products K6654 Pitman by John Brouillard

Excellent replacement parts from MOOG

Quality part, no counterfeit. If you plan on replacing this one yourself, be prepared to spend some time, the old one won't budge. Make sure you have a sturdy puller, a serious tension rod, and some time. So if you need to replace this, spray it with penetrating oil immediately. No WD40, but a good penetrating oil. I'm waiting for you to do it This is one of the trickiest parts I've shot out of various cars and I always want to get out my flashlight and turn it off. So be careful, use penetrating oil, don't rush to turn the puller until you think it's going to break. If you can handle the puller installed and it seems to be squeezing/banging the old link with full force where it's attached, that will really help. On my H2 I had to readjust the steering gear, which was like a very small lever. It took a few hours of hitting, spinning and spraying and I noticed it's now 1/16 off. Some friends who watched the commotion thought that I would surely be seriously injured by the force applied to the wrench and jumper, and were surprised that nothing broke and also surprised when he gave up. Much luck.
