heats up too slowly
The kettle looks good but is very light compared to others we've had. Maybe thinner stainless steel? Also, the bottom is not flat but has a raised rim, then a recessed area of about 1 inch, followed by a regular flat bottom in the center. On a gas hob this would be fine, but on a traditional electric hob most of the base is not in contact with the heating element, resulting in a significant increase in heat-up time.ETA: After two weeks of use, this kettle is driving me crazy with its slow heating I can boil water in an open pot faster than this kettle.
