The performance and coverage of this AP is amazing. My house is a 2 story building and I had a Linksys WRT router on the 2nd floor. It generally worked well, except it still had the usual overheating problem in the summer when there was a cooler underneath. Thermal issues aside, the wireless signal was still weak in some corners and the backyard, leading me to look for a better access point for stability and performance. Surprisingly, the NWA1123-AC HD 3x3 antenna design actually provides better coverage at all angles than a 4x4 router. For the management interface, you can choose either a regular standalone web interface or launch a cloud portal with fine-grain control. A note for home users is that the access point cannot connect directly to the modem and must be behind a router for IP sharing. Otherwise, the access point has everything you need, plus a business-class cloud management interface.
