Bought for my 8 year old son. He's a smaller size but this scooter is still perfect for him. He jumps on it etc and it's light enough that he can "jump" and lift both wheels off the ground. It looks very cool and is very easy to assemble. I had to lubricate the wheels after assembly to make them roll a little faster and smoother (I used Teflon bike grease). Good scooter. UPDATE 2 days later (after a few hours of heavy use): So, my kid is in "burnouts" - sharp spasms and slides. The rear wheel is so worn that it now has hard corners. I'll still leave a 5 star review because you really shouldn't break a lot on scooters. But I ordered a bunch of more hard drives. The wheels of this scooter are soft, which is great for riding and jumping, but not designed for skidding and heavy braking.
