Review on 🔌 Sewell Direct SW-30471 BlastIR USB Adaptor: Powerful IR Repeater Kit with 1 Receiver/Emitter by Jay Williamson

I was looking for this product because we placed the soundbar in front of the TV and could no longer control the TV unless the remote was placed very high. So, with a simple setup, we installed the receiver on the edge of the TV and the transmitter in the place of the TV behind the soundbar. The problem is solved! This product seems slightly better than other similar products I've looked at (it's also more expensive). First, it comes with a power adapter, which is important in this case because plugging it into the TV's USB port wouldn't get the product to work when the TV is off. In addition, the receiver is said to have a range of 8 meters (about 25 feet). I've tried this from about 15 feet and it works great.
