I bought these cupcake tins because the ones I took out of storage when I moved in had NO non-stick properties. I was making egg frittata muffins and was so beside myself trying to clean up the mess that I just decided to order them instead and ditch the old metal pans that were my skillets. The best decision of MY LIFE! I still follow recipes that suggest oiling the pans before putting the ingredients in, but I'm honestly not even sure if it's necessary. I can't believe how easy it is to remove the food and then clean it. The flexibility of the pans makes them easy to remove, and cleanup is effortless as nothing sticks to these baddies. Love her. The only thing I will note here is that they are not durable at all. If you try to use them without putting a baking sheet underneath, you'll probably end up with one hell of a mess. I didn't try this, instead opting for a baking sheet from the start. Using these pans out of the box makes that aspect pretty obvious, so it wasn't a big deal, but it definitely had to be mentioned. The red I got is a nice rich red in case anyone is wondering. I don't care the color of things as long as they work as expected and I expect them to continue working for some time. They feel very durable and the silicone is quite thick in all the right places.
