Review on πŸ”§ DEA A4517 Front Right Engine Mount: Stable and Smooth Performance Upgrade by Johnathan Hegie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality. Best in Engines

So it seems quite heavy, which I mean well, because it's made of rubber. The old one was all busted inside, I should have ordered the hydraulics from AutoZone, but the downside to hydraulics is that they allow too much engine movement, which I don't want. Personally, I prefer the full power of my car to too much play. Overall, this is a pretty good motor mount. Just go upstairs, you may need to raise your engine. I made it out of an oil pan. DO NOT LIFT WITHOUT CHECKING THE DISTANCE. Just lift a very small amount, just enough to put in and take out. Be careful not to spill power steering fluid. Reduce the torque to 40 pounds and then lower the engine.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negligible maintenance
