🔧 DEA A4517 Front Right Engine Mount: Stable and Smooth Performance Upgrade Review

Fits well, looks good but poor quality. Vibration appeared after installation. Makes an annoying squeak. Tried to save money and took this instead of genuine Honda parts and immediately regretted it. I ended up buying the original Honda mount ($115) and no vibration or creaking. I think for a fifth of the price if you are happy with a little squeak and vibration it's worth it. This was on an 04 Acura TL. It is very easy to install. The old one cracked badly, causing vibration and "knocking" on bumps. Put this guy in. Deleted the old one and installed this one. The first thing that strikes me is the sharpness. Attempts to "disarm" the mount. A small improvement. I thought he was going. I drove about 20 km (to work and back). This was a good quality, nearly identical replacement bracket. This is a very simple motor mount replacement, the lines are returned immediately so the invoices are returned hassle free. I made this motor mount and the upper transmission mount and both were two of the easiest mounts I've ever changed. The engine and transmission stay in place with very little jack pressure, and the design Honda used leaves plenty of wiggle room to get all the bolts engaged easily. I recommend anyone working on…

So it seems quite heavy, which I mean well, because it's made of rubber. The old one was all busted inside, I should have ordered the hydraulics from AutoZone, but the downside to hydraulics is that they allow too much engine movement, which I don't want. Personally, I prefer the full power of my car to too much play. Overall, this is a pretty good motor mount. Just go upstairs, you may need to raise your engine. I made it out of an oil pan.
