Excellent value for money at this price

I've read all the reviews on this bike stand and many other bike stands at this very low price and this stand struck me as the best combination of features and adjustability, particularly through the Using quick release clamps for most adjustments instead of small knobs and by including a front wheel stabilization tool. Upon receipt I was not disappointed. Contrary to some other reviews, mine came with the legs properly assembled and nothing was damaged or missing. All I had to do was install the clip assembly from the top using the included Allen wrench and install the toolbox clip. However, I'm surprised no one has mentioned in other reviews that the folding legs can't close 100% with the toolbox installed. It's not a deal killer for me as I can still fold my legs 90% or just remove the toolbox. I bought this to hold my carbon bike securely with the seat tube which makes this stand great. The best way to do this is to release the pivot clamp to allow the bike to find its center of gravity and then tighten it. As a result, the bike hangs at a steep angle, as in my photo, but is very stable and still easy to work on. Note that this should expose about 5 inches of the seat tube. If your seats are low, the large clamp head will only fit if you raise the seat. Of course if I mounted it on my carbon top tube it would fit and stay flat but pinching a carbon frame is very risky. I gave it 5 stars in relation to its price which is less than 1/. 3 of what I would pay to buy a more professional bike at a bike shop. Yes it has a lot of plastic parts but it seems very strong and durable and perfect for home repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
