Review on Park Tool CG 2 4 Bicycle Cleaning by Abaraham Duvernot

I bought this because I have a bike that I want to take very good care of for a long time and I wanted to give it a deep clean at the end of the season. . After watching the video here I expected the chain to look like new. Well, when I was done it got a lot better, but it didn't look "new" anymore. Looking back on the video her chain wasn't as dirty as mine so I think it will look better than mine after cleaning it. I admit that maybe my expectations were too high. Another thing I've found when using a chain cleaner is that it's very easy to accidentally knock the chain out of the front chainring if you're not careful of the position of your hand holding the cleaner while pedaling. Keeping your hand and bike steady, keeping the tool near the derailleur, and not squeezing or tensioning the chain will keep the chain on the sprocket where it belongs while you turn the crankshaft. Well, and the brush really helped me clean my sprockets. This tool helps to make everything really shine like new, but it is not a "one tool for everything". You will want to use it in combination with other cleaning methods. I think I would have given this review an "average" 3 stars, but since it actually worked better than I could without it, I'll add another.
