Great chain tool but the included cleaner seems overpriced when bought separately. I suggest using Simple Green and/or dish soap. Watch Youtube videos for alternative cleaning suggestions. Hopefully Park Tool will take a look at their reviews and lower the price and/or release larger containers that upgrade their chain cleaner. Overall, Park Tool makes great products, has great YouTube videos, and a great customer. Service team!

This chain cleaner has been thought through down to the smallest detail. It basically makes cleaning your chain a lot easier. My chain has never been cleaned so it was quite dirty. Very easy to use - I ordered extra bottles of cleaning solution because what is in the kit is enough for about 3 cleanings. I was able to hold the cleaning tool in my left hand while stepping backwards with my right hand to pass the chain through. I dip the brush in the cleaning solution and clean the cartridge. The cleaning tool is too complex and not durable - The bristles come off, you have to catch these bristles while cleaning the chain - The degreaser drips from the cleaning tool. If you remove the chain, you can clean the sprockets, derailleur and front sprockets separately without the chain. - Cleaning a dirty chain uses almost all of the degreaser that comes with the kit.
