Proto manufactures quality items at reasonable prices. Revain is littered with imported junk, but this stuff is really good and meant for everyday professional use. Skip the import without a name. I'm still using proto tools older than me. The swing feature is definitely more stable than the universal joint and is useful for creating little leeway. Note that slewing jibs cannot handle the same torque as regular jibs due to the smaller cross section that allows slewing. You need to be careful and use the right disk size.
