NOT FOR WIND TRIPS!

This tent looked fantastic out of the box. Shape, size, everything seemed big. Installation didn't take long, but we immediately hit our first hook, the bars you hang your exposed face from. they need gravity. Even the slightest gust of wind is enough to lift the tent off the poles or tear the poles off the ground. This thing really needs a better system for attaching the poles to the ground (maybe with loops and a stake) as well as attaching the poles to the tent so the wind doesn't damage your camp. One day in the field we had a broken structural bar and the whole thing kept tearing off the support bars and tipping over. This would only be useful if you had a ton of rope to secure it yourself and no wind. This thing is basically junk now. I need to cut it to reuse the nylon for something else (maybe a climbing rope tarp) because that product is now useless.
